Express Entry
Canada mainly manages the skilled immigrants’ application through express entry. It has three
main programs.
1. Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
2. Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
3. Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)

You can apply through their federal government website if you are qualified for express entry. Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) gives you scores according to your age, language skills, education, work skills, and experience. if you get higher scores than Immigration, you will be invited by Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to register for permanent residency. IRCC takes almost 6 months for application processing.

Provincial Nominee Program
People who are willing to immigrate to Canada can be nominated by Canada/s provinces. They
invite them to live in a specific province. Eligibility criteria are provided by each province. They
choose the highest scored applicants through Expression of Interest (EOI) systems. PNP streams
are available for applications. You can also apply through steams that are associated with express
entry. It will give you more choices. If any province chooses you then it will add extra points to
your express entry application.

Quebec Immigration
Quebec province has a separate immigration program and selection criteria from Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). Quebec’s Immigration Ministry gives a selection certificate (Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ)) to those who are chosen. The province of Quebec offers the following programs for immigration.
1. Quebec Skilled Worker Program (QSWP)
2. The Quebec Experience Program (PEQ)

Atlantic Immigration Pilot is a separate immigration program of Atlantic Canada. Employers use this program to hire employees from other countries. Federal Start-Up Visa Program
Entrepreneurs can expand their business in Canada through Federal Start-Up Visa Program. They can connect with private Canadian organizations for their help, funding, and expertise. Federal Self-Employed Program

Family Sponsorship

You need to submit an undertaking that you will support your family financially and the government is not responsible for it. You can sponsor your immediate relatives like parents, children, spouses, and grandparents. You need to meet the following criteria for sponsorship:
1. You should have citizenship or permanent residency in Canada.

Citizenship
You need to pass the citizenship test for adjusting your status from permanent resident to citizen. You need to stay in Canada for at least 3 years.
